This coming saturday, we will haul the Jetta on down to Toledo Speedway and unleash the beast that we have held back all this time.
We have much to do in the short time that this week is allowing us, and thanks to Michigan, it's raining...but that's not going to stop us. Tonight is a big night. The car which sits out of the garage, needs to get put back together under the deep blue protective weave of our singular tarp. We will get it back into the garage, let her dry off a bit and keep on going. A little water never hurt nobody.
We lost one of our drivers this weekend due to internal differences, so with a week remaining, we are definitely up against a wall. Gian, Allen, and I have high hopes and the three of us are sure that we can keep this thing together and pull through. It won't be a problem.
Pink is prepping a nice and productive looking blog as we speak, about what went down this weekend and I'm hoping to see it tomorrow when I get up in the morning, if I get up in the morning. All this working on the car has me feeling a bit drained. I know that there is more of this sentiment throughout our team as well. But we all see the light at the end of the tunnel now.
